World Cruise, anyone? Starts @ $40K USD

I wouldn't go for free... Floating petri dish of diseases

by Anonymousreply 1November 5, 2022 9:49 PM

You could put yourself in a lot healthier environment and have a lot more freedom and flexibility with that money and time.

by Anonymousreply 2November 5, 2022 9:59 PM

OnlyFans every night, pays for itself.

by Anonymousreply 3November 5, 2022 10:02 PM

I don’t think that I could tolerate an inside cabin, though. And the majority of passengers are most likely 65+, not really a fun crowd at all.

by Anonymousreply 4November 5, 2022 10:04 PM

Most younger people are still working and could not take that much time off even if they have the money.

by Anonymousreply 5November 6, 2022 2:04 AM

Definitely going to hit an iceberg.

by Anonymousreply 6November 6, 2022 2:10 AM

5 months on a ship, in a small cabin, with the same people every day? I'd rather be sliced up with a butter knife.

by Anonymousreply 7November 6, 2022 6:28 PM

[quote] spend two days sailing through the Suez Canal

Why that long?

by Anonymousreply 8November 6, 2022 6:37 PM

[quote]Definitely going to hit an iceberg.

My money's on PIRATES!

by Anonymousreply 10November 6, 2022 8:02 PM

Jesus Christ, trapped on a boat for 155 days? That's torture. It boggles my mind that people would pay for that experience.

Never been into cruises.

by Anonymousreply 11November 6, 2022 8:05 PM

Is that $40,000 or $40,000 per person (double occupancy)?

by Anonymousreply 12November 6, 2022 8:51 PM

South & Central America aren't included? Tsk, tsk! And I agree with R2.

by Anonymousreply 13November 6, 2022 9:09 PM

I think per person R12, like all cruises.

by Anonymousreply 14November 6, 2022 9:25 PM

I hate it after about a week

by Anonymousreply 15November 6, 2022 9:43 PM

I read an article a lot a couple just doing cruise after cruise in retirement. It’s actually a cheap alternative to renting a house

by Anonymousreply 16November 6, 2022 9:44 PM

I would think after a certain amount of time on this cruise a kind of psychosis would set in. If a norovirus doesn’t get you first.

by Anonymousreply 17November 6, 2022 10:01 PM

Book me a cabin. I’m sure I’ll be needed.

Touch nothing!

by Anonymousreply 18November 6, 2022 10:09 PM

Ugly boat. And the Business Insider is a TRASH site for shills. OP must be trash.

by Anonymousreply 19November 6, 2022 10:29 PM

For 155 days, I'll damn well need my own room! There isn't a human being on Earth I'd want to spend five months in a tiny room with!

by Anonymousreply 20November 6, 2022 11:09 PM

What a stupid trip. So basically, $40K is for the room and trip only. You pay for your food and drinks. If you go on-shore, you pay for your food and hotel.

by Anonymousreply 21November 6, 2022 11:34 PM

If I could afford it I’d go on a larger ship. That ship is too small for 155 days.

by Anonymousreply 22November 7, 2022 1:59 AM

Who shit in r19 ‘s cornflakes today?

No matter, he eats old people’s shit anyway. Perhaps this cruise would be ideal for him.

by Anonymousreply 23November 7, 2022 2:04 AM

Raquel is running the engine room.

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 24November 7, 2022 2:25 AM

Damn, Raquel made some shitty films.

by Anonymousreply 25November 7, 2022 1:18 PM

There better be a ton of bangable barbacks

by Anonymousreply 26November 7, 2022 2:04 PM

stuck on the boat with the Mpox and covid...MMMMMMMM...what's not to like ?

by Anonymousreply 27November 7, 2022 2:13 PM

Will there be a Shelly Winters inspired Fish Tank?

by Anonymousreply 28November 7, 2022 2:14 PM

Great setting for a murder mystery

Or a murder in the play about a murder cruise

by Anonymousreply 29November 7, 2022 2:17 PM

I’m guessing 40 grand gets you the boiler room sans a shirtless Leo

by Anonymousreply 30November 7, 2022 2:22 PM

R25, Raquel certainly made some bad films, but The Magic Christian was a late 60's very black saire so you cna't take that scene seriously. However, like Myra Breckinridge, another Raquel poor choice, it was a bad film.

by Anonymousreply 31November 7, 2022 2:35 PM

7 Days tops, then it becomes “The Shining”

by Anonymousreply 32November 7, 2022 2:48 PM

I'd be afraid I would jump overboard after a week or two.

by Anonymousreply 33November 7, 2022 2:54 PM

You don't pay for food on cruises unless you choose to eat at a specialty restaurant.

by Anonymousreply 34November 7, 2022 3:03 PM

It stops in Ukraine which must be lovely these days.

by Anonymousreply 35November 7, 2022 3:14 PM

What’s to stop the crew from turning on you and throwing you overboard?

by Anonymousreply 36November 7, 2022 3:46 PM

Holy shit does it really enter the Black Sea?

by Anonymousreply 37November 7, 2022 4:14 PM

The Dead Sea is more like it

by Anonymousreply 38November 7, 2022 5:50 PM

Then there’s Ghost Ships out wandering the high seas which you wouldn’t want to encounter on a moonless night

by Anonymousreply 39November 7, 2022 5:57 PM

I like the movie with Ron Eldard and Julianna Marguiles, GHOST SHIP. Creepy ass movie.
