Pee-wee's Playhouse was the creepiest children's tv show ever. I was forced to watch it as a child with my babysitter. I couldn't understand why it was so popular. I also thought Mr. Roger's Neighborhood was creepy as fuck too.

And I loved PeeWees Playhouse as a kid. I watched it religiously every Saturday. It has a very subversive yet funny sense of humour, especially for kids. It was a perfect representation of an 80s kids show and not as depressing as the psychedelic kids shows from the 70s like the Banana Splits and H.R. Pufnstuf.
