I find them both tiresome and faker than fake. I never believe any celebrity conspiracies but ever since the 90s I’ve been convinced he’s gay or just bi. There’s no way Garth Brooks is 100% straight. Trisha Yearwood literally bought air time for her cooking show. There have been some funny threads about it here and how unbelievably bad it is. Like seriously bad. There’s no hiding the fact that she cannot cut or chop. Everything she makes has a way of making Sandra Lee look like Julia Child. Cans of beans and melted cheese product, saltine crackers bags of Sams club lettuce, lots and lots of cans of chili and frozen peas…. If you don’t believe it, watch a couple of episodes! I’m from the deep deep south and grew up very humble, and I know what working class country recipes look like. Trisha Yearwood takes it to a whole new low and attempts to pass it off as worthy of a cooking show while telling everyone who watches that she honed her “skills” by constantly cooking for her crew when she used to be touring and on the road. She literally says that shit as if people believe it. Like, she insists she cooked all the time not just sometimes. Such a load of bullshit both of them.

I’m a country music fan born and raised in the south and have always followed Garth; I’ve seen his show in person ( front row) several times. He is the country music equivalent of John Travolta. So yes, it is a “lavender marriage.” But as far as performers are rated, he is top 3 of all time. I’ve never seen anyone else perform for 2.5 hours solid with his incredible energy. It’s spectacular to behold.

Garth is too much as a performer. I loved it when I was young. But as I got older, geez. He may as well have learned to perform on one of those Disney tween shows. Everything is done at 11. His XM station is awful - so preachy and emotional. And if his songs are on Pandora, I gotta skip them. Except "Much Too Young".
