They're not all "burn the batty-boy" hellholes, right?
Where do East Coast gays go for a quick sand-and-sun tropical vacation?

Stick to the French and Dutch places, not the British or American.
Curacao, Saint Marteen (Dutch)
St Barts, Saint Martin (French)

The Dominican Republic has nice resorts that are insulated from the angry homophobia in the rest of the country... and there are hot Dominican guys, if you like that type.

Yeah, as a gay person you don't go to Jaimaica r5.
Being gay is still illegal in Jaimaica. Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Saint Lucia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Trinidad and Tobago. Those are the countries that still have antigay laws on the books.

I’m not aware that the U.S. Virgin Islands are homophobic. I’ve been to St. John and St. Croix and didn’t get any bad vibe.

I don't speak to anyone who has gone to Jamaica. There is no excuse for supporting a rampantly racist culture with a racist government, no matter how good the food and pot is.
Assholes.

Tulum is boring, rll,the sea is rough, the beaches windy and the gay tourists sparce and dull. Gay locals non existent. PDC down the road has dreadful beaches, overhyped nightlife, gruesome day tourists, ripoff restaurants, the 5th is a seedy tourist rip off, but it’s gay gay gay.

Cuba, surprisingly. St Barts in a more champagne in every convenience store way.

Mystique. When you’re paying a small fortune no one cares who you fuck.

We’ve been to Curaçao and Aruba, both Dutch, and felt very welcome there. However, theyre not the most exciting.

Puerto Rico is the only Caribbean island worth the trip.

How are Martinique and Guadeloupe for those who've been there?

Key West did not suffer much damage during Hurricane Irma - just a hedge-trimming. Gay Key West isn’t what it used to be but there’s still plenty of fun to be had and the island is basically covered with rainbow flags - which is very nice.

Puerto Rico is THE gay Island of the Caribbean. Only one where you will feel 90% safe (always some crazies). And it has gay bars. The rest of the Caribbean - except Cuba and DR - are boring beautiful beaches on tropical islands that are way overpriced most of the year.

St. Barth’s is the only truly 100% gay friendly place in the Caribbean. There is zero homophobia or gay discrimination there.

the french and dutch islands, cuba and puerto rico are the least homophobic of the caribean countries

Barbados is supposedly making an effort to be more gay-friendly.
