so many people write about cheap vs. expensive plastic surgery. As if spending a lot of money means you will get good results. ANY PLASTIC SURGERY can make the person look worse. And a small amount of people, especially those over 60, die on the table.
It took years for everyone to figure out that 1 in 3000 Brazilian butt lift patients died from the surgery. And imagine how many survivors came close to dying or had massive problems and disfigurement.
Every year, there are procedures that have been done for years that get taken off the market. And even then, some doctors continue to offer them.

Well, I think this interesting. Women are constantly undergoing surgery to look younger because society judges them on their looks. Men are judged more by how much money they make (and their height). Thus, men are much less likely to have plastic surgery. Of those men who do have plastic surgery, it seems like most of them are gay.
But there have been some high-profile straight men having plastic surgery: Sylvester Stallone, Kenny Rogers, Simon Cowell. The problem is that plastic surgery has a feminizing effect on men's faces. But I think it's interesting that they're feeling the pressure that was previously reserved for women.

I'm not up on all the proper language for describing plastic surgery is. All I can say is the skin right below his eyes looked tighter and slightly different from what he looked like a few years earlier. The end result was his eyes looked to be open wider than what I was used to seeing on Simon's face.

R140, I don't think that picture shows before-and-after plastic surgery. In the second pic, it looks like he lost a lot of weight, and his upper eye lid is "hollowed". That happened to me in my 30s. In his case, he his eyelid is hanging low. This is known as "ptosis". A plastic surgeon can lift the upper eyelid to show more of the eyeball. Health insurance will pay for this procedure because it improves the person's field of vision. Then the next step would be to inject a small amount of fat into the upper eyelid to fill in the hollowed out space.

In addition to all the other procedures, he has had a severe chemical peel. Something that not many people are willing to risk anymore. Not only because of the healing time - but unpredictable results.
Botox does not make your face shiny all over and you don't get botox injected ALL over your face. Chemical peels are a painful 4 weeks of full scabbing and controlled burn conditions, followed by a year of sensitve, tight and very shiny "fresh" skin.
Facelifts take 3 months to look human and over a year to get feeling back.
Nose jobs take almost two years to completely heal the bones and cartilage and stop internal swelling. The nose is not the most painful plastic surgery if all goes well - but it does take the longest to fully recover from. That area of the face has so much blood flow that swelling, congestion and sinus pain can take well over a year to settle down. Simon's nose job is not recent.
His droppy eyes are a casualty of permanent botox damage. But the new eyelift gives him some upper lid and the asymetry of a decomposed body face. He might look better in six months. But nah. He one who is always getting something done. Like Joan Rivers and Cher his face never looks healed.
I know abit about some of this stuff in my profession. What I don't understand is why anyone thought Simon Cowell was EVER goodlooking? He always had fat tits with far apart eyes and planet of the Apes hair. He used to be ugly - now he's thinner and deformed. With some eyelid. If god didn't give a man hollow upper eyelids - 65 is no age to buy yourself some.
The facial burn peel will end up being his most successful procedure. His skin looks FRESH. Cuz it is.
