R7 they're reporting on the past five weeks, since Mark joined the show in mid-April. So he was there for two weeks in April and three weeks in May ( May 1 - May 19). What they don't say is that the Writer's Strike began on May 1, and all late night shows went into reruns as well as most daytime talk shows (including 'The Talk' on CBS, and I believe other syndicated shows). So it's not really a true assessment since reruns of talk shows hardly do well in the ratings. So all and all, "Kelly & Mark" had had barely any competition.
