Jake was a popular porn star for a couple years....several years ago. He burnt out rather quickly but most of them do.

I met Chris Rockway once...he came to town to go go at some big party. He was cute and petite but solid..like an eager little puppy dog. For being 'straight' he was very eager to hang out with the gays.

I never heard of Jake Genesis until I came upon one of his videos randomly on a free site a few years ago.

I feel like Rocco Reed and Marcus Ruhl were the most mainstream porn stars and they worked for the more widely distributed studios. I could be wrong but I saw both everywhere for years and I discovered all the others on free streaming sites because they worked for Randy Blue or whatever niche website.

I liked all those guys except Ruhl, OP, who was beautiful but too dispassionate in his sex scenes, and Reed, who was not attractive to me.

Rockway had the most sex appeal and was often great in bed, especially if he had the right partner. It always helped that him partners were so clearly always turned on by him.

Genesis was the best looking (he had a superb body and a gorgeous face), and could be good in bed, but was not consistent. Sometimes he looked like he was just going through the motions.

Cole had the biggest dick and the most muscular body, but only a so-so face. He could be great when really turned on, but sometimes he seemed out of it or under the influence in his scenes. His scene with Brad Patton and his monstrously huge uncut dick (bigger even than Cole's own, which is really saying something) in TRUNKS 2 is an absolute classic, however.

My vote in the end would go to Rockway, I guess.

I other thing I loved about Chris Rockway: he was that gorgeous, and for some reason he lived in Omaha, NE. He admitted in an interview that he's such a horndog he has to have sex every day even though he was not in a relationship, and in those days there were not many popular hook-up apps. So that meant every day he went out cruising the streets of Omaha for sex--and found it! Also, all those men would look swarthier if they were natrual. Going hairless was a big look especially for men who worked out a lot (and it still is for some), and so Reed and Cole were shaved. I know for a fact Cole was much hairier than that, and I would guess Reed would have been too.

R23 I know the term swarthy can have a pejorative connotation.

I mean quite the opposite, as a synonym for 'sultry' but specifically with dark hair and features.

I actually acquired this usage here on DataLounge years ago when someone asked why so many British men are so swarthy. I believe it was at the time a reference to Kit Harington when Game of Thrones was airing.

Prior to this, the term called to mind for me stereotypical pirates such as the one Johnny Depp played in Pirates of the Caribbean, who also were British, I think from the Cornish coast.

Matt is my favorite all around considering how they turned out. Rocco Reed is a hypocritical Christian who denounces gay sex. So is Jake Genesis.

I just read about Chris Rockway and he isn't like that at all, but he does sound like a total narcissist and he says he is straight and refers to any convincing sex scenes he does as a convincing 'magic show':

Overall, Matt seems sane and stable by all appearances. When he speaks in the schoolroom scene above, it's *pretty* obvious that he is gay, and it's a big relief that he not only appears to be openly gay but also to support gay liberties and rights publicly and to publicly oppose those who oppose gay rights and democracy generally.

Not a lot of former gay porn stars seem so well balanced and decent. One of the other few guys I know of is Adam Cucilich, aka Ryan Driller aka Jeremy Bilding, who is retired and who seems to be actually straight or bi and settled with a woman, but not hateful or self-loathing. His best friend of decades (going by social media representation) is Marcellas Reynolds, a gay, black fashion commentator and former model.

The statement by Jake Genesis that I'm familiar had him denouncing pornography and the entire adult entertainment industry. He didn't say anything about gay sex. The words "gay" and "homosexuality" don't even appear in his statement.

And while he mentioned his own Catholic faith, he refers to it as a personal journey of reconciliation that he was still on at that point in time.

Swarthy generally means "dusky skinned" in addition to dark hair. Men of the Mediterranean and Mideast.

What R44 said. "Swarthy" means dark skinned. It usually refers to men of Mediterranean, Latino or middle eastern origin. These are fine porn star specimens and handsome dark haired men, but none of them is actually "swarthy."

Ruhl is Puerto Rican and Cuban.

Cole looks 'swarthy' to me because of the dark eyes. Not his eye color but the area around his eyes.

And Genesis does look 'swarthy' to me I think because of his body hair. He looks like a white guy featureswise, but he has a 'swarthy' (as I think of it) air about him to me. I can easily imagine him in Middle Eastern garb, for example, much more easily than I can imagine him in lederhosen or a kilt.
