I came across this website blackdogue.net which features PG male models nude, I browsed and flipped over Eddie Bloom December 1975, Bart Turner July 1975, I like em goodlooking and hairy. Steve Bond October 1975 nice. Overall Tame by today's standards, not many full blown erections, mostly flaccid at rest,, but still sexy shots of mostly goodlooking guys from various decades 1970s onward. Any Thoughts?

Jesus Christ another thread from somebody who just discovered the blackdogue site
That isn’t even comprehensive, the Adonis Male site is better

I followed the “Blackdogue”site since 2011 or so. The site wasn’t updated since 2012. It’s so accessible and I still enjoy it. The men had naturally beautiful bodies and classically handsome faces.

When I was in high school/early college there was a trainer at the gym I belonged to who had been one of their "Real Men" models in the mid-90s. He was hot AF and I had seen him in the locker room naked and soft which fueled my imagination, so quite a find when I discovered what it looked like hard.

I've had some fun looking through that site. Does anyone else find they prefer the earlier pics to the later ones? I've found the men from the 70s-mid 80s much more my style. By the 90s so many of them look kinda plastic, kinda all the same body. Or maybe it's the glossiness of the photos compared to the matte-ness (not a word) of the earlier shots? Maybe I just like the naturally hairy bodies, the slimmer/muscular bodies? I mean, lets be honest, some of those 70s shots are quite cheesy too, and I can't say I find every one of the guys hot, but I do really like the look of that time more.
I started puberty in the 90s, so the look of the 90s guys is kinda nostalgic at the same time, but it's the natural bodies and masculinity of those early shots that really does it for me.
Steve Bond shown above, VERY cute! He has such a hot boyish look that is also manly, you know? The look at the moment is a softer almost feminine boyish look that I don't like so much.
I also think going through these pics I have discovered a little fetish of mine, which is sexy men dressed only from the waist up. There are some hot pics of guys on that site with just their pants missing.

A guy who used to work behind the counter at my gym back in the 90s - A RAGING QUEEN - was in a Playgirl layout. A couple of the shots where he was clothed showed him behind a bar lighting a woman's cigarette. His "interview" was all about how much he loved to "please the ladies in his life."
I saw it and laughed out loud, especially since I remember him walking into the gym one day in stilettos.

Have you told that story here before? Was the guy Tony Piagi?
| by Anonymous | reply 15 | August 5, 2022 10:07 PM |
Hehehe, something for him to show the family back home, maybe R14?
| by Anonymous | reply 16 | August 5, 2022 10:07 PM |
R15 I may have, and yes, Tony Piagi was his name.
| by Anonymous | reply 17 | August 5, 2022 10:14 PM |
R16 There's no way he could've passed as straight. He was a "5-alarmer."

What I like on some of those earlier models is when you see a guy with a smooth chest, but, say, a bit of hair around his nipple or something (see Scott Nahri for e.g.). Just guys who haven't had every stray hair waxed off their body is very attractive to me.

I met him through work when he worked in AV production.
That was before his older lover/boss was stabbed to death dozens of times and willed his whole estate to him. (Yes, that happened. He was the prime suspect and then cleared.)

He's lovely, R21, I especially like him in that knitted jumper (something I don't think I thought I'd ever say haha).

Men and women both were more attractive in previous eras. Millennials and Zoomers are androgynous and childish looking by comparison. Indoor lifestyle, bottle feeding, processed food diet, pollution messing up their endocrine/hormone systems, etc. People just aren't turning out as attractive adults anymore. The men and women held up as aesthetic specimens today are vulgar and plastic looking.

R22 We find attractive what we grew up seeing as sexy during our formative years.
In 20 years, 44 year olds are going to be asking what's wrong with America when 20-somethings don't have Botox and duck lips and gigantic earholes.

I think you are right. The fact is, I like these 70s/early 80s men because I was born in the early 80s and these were the men who were around me growing up.
I do find it odd that I don't really like the 90s look in men that much, considering that was when I hit puberty and usually the teen years are our most nostalgic, but maybe the look is just too much of not what I like.
[quote]Millennials and Zoomers are androgynous and childish looking by comparison.
I'm not sure about the Millennials (apparently I am one, though we always called in Gen Y growing up) but I do see this with Gen Z a bit more. But not androgynous in that amazingly interesting way of a Grace Jones or Annie Lennox or even Shane from The L Word way, you know, but kinda... lumpy and fleshy and bland.
| by Anonymous | reply 25 | August 5, 2022 11:01 PM |
R25 Grace Jones and Annie Lennox were androgynous because they were both masculine and feminine; Millennials and gen z are androgynous because they're neither masculine nor feminine.

R26, Interesting point! The former is much more interesting to me, personally. It's positive rather than negative, if that makes sense.

R23: The fashion industry deserves a lot of the blame as well. It influences pop culture's idea of what is beautiful. For many decades, the industry hired male and female models (remember the late 80s/early 90s supermodels?) who looked like grown adults. Plus, 90s male models were built, not underweight. Then the waifs were popularized in the mid 1990s, followed by heroin chic. By 2010, mature-looking models were over. They hired people who looked like skinny teenagers with blank expressions, often interchangeable. That body type is still promoted today, but many of the faces now are not only devoid of personality, they're weird or unnatural (Bella Hadid).

Blank expressions and faces devoid of personality is a great way to describe the aesthetic at the moment. I hadn't thought of it like that before, but I think that's why I find so much looks so grim at the moment, even with all the bright colours and "kooky" clothing. There's an element of fun missing.

My favorites were Kelly Coffee and Thom Tadlock.
| by Anonymous | reply 30 | August 5, 2022 11:29 PM |
I like the feeling of "accessibility" for want of a better term, with the older models too. There's a sense they are just regular guys, and you could believe you could actually talk to/hang out with them. Most of the later models look like they would belong to an exclusive club.
Some of the hairstyles across the years though - hahaha!
