She's probably gonna go to prison, not similar at all to the Andrea Yates case
Shocking new information revealed during the arraignment:
--She very clearly planned her husband leaving the house to go to a further away restaurant (out of their normal go-to local takeout spots) to get food from ThreeV in Plymouth, MA; she texted with him about an hour earlier (while he was downstairs in his home office) to ask what he wanted off the menu -- she got a mediterranean power bowl, he got scallops & pork belly risotto
--She also had her husband stop at CVS, presumably to have more time for the killing
--The round trip maps detail is - Home >> CVS >> ThreeV Restaurant >> Home; 26 minutes driving time, plus a few minutes to stop at the two locations, probably 35-40 minutes total --Friends, family, pediatrician everyone that interacted with her that day said she was completely normal that day and week leading up to that day. Additionally, she spent time that afternoon building a snowman in the backyard with the older two children and sent photos and texts of the snowman and kids to her mother and to her husband
--She also had two very normal phone conversations with a CVS manager (inquiring about whether children's miralax was in stock) and while placing a takeout order with ThreeV restaurant about an hour before the killings
--Her husband called during the killings (approx. 10 minutes after he left the home, while he was at CVS); she answered the call and spoke with him briefly. Her husband indicated that she sounded alright but seemed to be "in the middle of something"
--Patrick returned home to a silent home, called her phone looking for her and then went upstairs to find their bedroom door closed and locked. He managed to get it open and walked in to find blood on the floor in front of a full length mirror and the window open
--He rushed outside to be with her and asked what she had done, she said she "tried to commit suicide". He was on the phone with 911 when he asked her where the children were and she said in the basement. He waited until EMS arrived and could stay with her before rushing inside to look for the kids, not knowing they had been harmed. He walked down the stairs and said "guys??" before discovering them and screaming out in agony
--She strangled all 3 children with exercise bands and left them in the basement, face down. When police and EMS came to the basement, he exclaimed "she killed the kids!" -- all of this was still while he was on the phone with 911
--She kept a very detailed diary - "meticulous"; her diary entries indicate resentment towards the older 2
--Doctor indicated in December that she did not have postpartum depression or psychosis
--The first thing she asked when she awoke in the hospital was "do I need a lawyer"
--She called her husband for the first time last week and claimed to have heard "voices" and had 'a moment of psychosis' however that was the first time she claims to ever have heard voices or used the word psychosis (according to Patrick)
--She is paralyzed from the waist down and will remain at her current hospital until she is medically cleared to move to another facility; she will have two guards present at all times
--She has not cried or shown any emotion over the death of her kids
