This man has always been a piece of shit human being.
And for anyone here saying that we all claim to care about the homeless population, but do nothing about it? WTF do you suggest be done? Lock them away somewhere and strip them of their civil liberties?
These people cannot be helped, because as someone mentioned above, most of them are homeless due to severe, untreated mental illness, and/or addiction, and alcoholism.
They get bussed to California or New York regularly from the shithole red states who don’t spend an iota of money for these people to at least survive and eat outside in the elements. Perhaps if people through out America began to vote for politicians who actually care about the poor and social services, we wouldn’t have these issues.
But no. It’s constantly NIMBY, until it gets to the point that it has gotten to now: not even working people can afford to buy or rent, so there’s no back yard to protect and bitch about anymore.
Sadly, most of this will take care of itself in the next 20 years. Record heats and severe winters, along with new viruses that become pandemics will clear a lot of them out, if they’re not executed for being poverty ridden.
He sounds like every piece of trash person who becomes a heartless monster as soon as he gets wealthy. There’s ZERO homeless people or encampments where this ghoul lives, trust me.
It’s a real travesty that the most indecent and sociopathic among us are the ones who end up being rewarded with massive wealth. And even worse, is that the moment they actually become influential enough to use their voice to reach wide swaths of people, they almost always start saying shit that resemble speeches recited by Adolph Hitler in the late 1920s to the early 1930s, before he convinced an entire nation that all non Aryans should be shot. Because that’s how that began, you know. Nazis would storm into villages and towns and line everyone up after they were forced to dig mass graves, and then they would line them up on the edge of the grave’s perimeter, and execute them in cold blood. The camps came later.
Fuck this guy. He’s a despicable fascist who has no redemptive qualities and doesn’t give one flying fuck about anyone or anything other than himself and his bank account. Of course he’s going to engage in provocative hate speech against a specific class. He wants controversy, so that he can absorb an audience who is so hateful, so vile and so immoral, that they’ll frame him as folk hero of their people, and they’ll do imbecilic shit like eat horse deworming paste, and neglect their health and public safety, just because some bald asshole making millions tell them it’s a good idea, while CERTAINLY, he himself, doesn’t follow his own advice and actively lies for PR and scandal.
