He's from LA and graduated from Cal State Fullerton. He's slowly inching his way back to LA since his last gig was in Fresno. I was in Vegas last weekend and the one who's getting the big push at the station is Abel Garcia, who is also on the clip. No offense to Joe, but you can see the difference in reporting talent. I think Joe can do light, morning style news but Abel is better suited towards the evening news.
