I watched Rock the Block last night on HGTV for the first time. If anyone ever thought Ty Pennington was good looking and a decent tv host, look again, cause that ship has sailed and it's sinking about 100 yards offshore.
TP is: red-faced, bloodshot, bleary, unshaven, uncombed and disheveled.
So what about his looks! If he's good at his job, let him work!
Oh, but he is not good at his job! He sounds actively drunk: slurs, leaves out words and mispronounces what he leaves in. It must require numerous takes for him to get his lines out in order, so after all that they just can't be bothered to make sure he enunciates and actually completes his sentences.
I hope someone drives him home from the set every day, otherwise DUI chances are really high!
Why do they keep using him?

I never got his appeal but women seemed to have liked him. He is a train wreck ,almost like hes had a few mini strokes. Im betting the beginnings of alcoholic dementia. David Bromstad lost whatever looks he had and now comes off as some tired,worn out trade from the party circuit. I used to find him very cute and charming,but I expect a face tattoo any day now.

I don't get it either, I am sure they could find a very attractive construction worker with some acting experience in S California and would have to pay him a lot less. There can't be that many people who tune in to see Ty.

I am going for Allison. I love Nate’s style and he’s put in some gorgeous pieces but he & his boy husband have a very specific style which I do not anticipate as getting top dollar outside Atlanta. I’d love them to purchase gorgeous sinks & show piece furniture but Allison seems to understand the general buyer. I believe the goal is to sell their designed home to the highest bidder. I love these shows. I liked Ty years ago in that house show were neighbors designed a room for each other but now I’m not as intrigued.
