This thread has given me a renewed appreciation for the male models who emerged in the late 90’s/early 00’s. The male models from the 70’s-90’s tended to have the “romance novel cover boy” look.
Josh Wald, Tyson Ballou, Garrett Neff, Justin Chambers, Brad Kroenig and others looked like hot guys you’d see on a college campus. They weren’t freakishly handsome or cartoonishly rugged…nor were they androgynous junkies.
