R12, you will love Copenhagen. First, there is so much eye candy your head will spin. Second, the Danes, although reserved, are kind, hospitable people. Ask someone for directions and they will walk you to your destination. Third, the society and culture have incredible values, democratic values, that they live by. Get a Dane talking and you will learn about a real democratic society. Fourth, it's just beautiful. Rent a bike and ride around -- it's very flat -- and see the sights. Also, take the boat ride from Nyhavn that will let you see Copenhagen by water. My most serious advice: be careful crossing the street. The Danes, even as pedestrians, are very obedient in following street lights, but there is a separate path for bicycles and you are expected to give way to the bikes and not step into the bike lane. Have fun!

This is hilarious. As a teenager I spent the summer in Copenhagen. The most gorgeous man came to ME of all people and asked directions to the train station. His English was bad, my Danish was worse, so I just grabbed him by the arm and took him there. I almost got on the train with him 😍
