HBO documentary about the lives of trans sex workers in the Meatpacking District during the 90s. Should be interesting.
Pose could never....

My friend lived on 15th west of 8th in the early 90s and that was a big block for tranny hookers. He said a large part of their clientele were Hasidic men driving sedans - apparently using an extremely legalistic reading of the Talmud cheating on your wife with a woman is a grave sin, but cheating on her with a man dressed as a woman is kosher - so to speak.
Perhaps Abraham was the first horny guy to decide “a mouth is a mouth.”

So yet another manufactured historical perspective of the gay community and what it's endured. Only this time, it's 100% "black trans lives matter". Which is find, if that's how they were to market it. But it isn't.
It's "people of color", (i.e., black people), who are "trans". In this alternative history, there are no white, Asian or Hispanic/Latino LGBT people who who were forced into prostitution, beat by johns, set-up and abused by cops. Nope. It's only the black sistas. I was down on my luck in the 80s too, but nobody forced me into prostitution as many of these people are claiming. What about all the people slinging burgers at McDonalds, or working other low paying labor in the day? How is someone "forced" into selling blowjobs and being fucked in alleyways when so many others have it just as bad but find a way to make it without doing the same thing?
