The link to Melissa Vega’s Instagram page @R185 is a fine example of why I went deuces on social media.
I tolerate and even enjoy the emojis when funny or sweet, but I cannot take a color specialist seriously, or any beauty industry professional, seriously, who uses SnapChat filters on her photographs, in order to create an amalgamation of a cute kitten, and herself. Ditto for the “freckles” filter, or that one insufferable and played out filter that features flowers over their heads.
How much for that hair color? Betcha it’s pricey. It’s amazing work, and looks damned good, when FILTERED, because if you’re a grown person who uses filters to make yourself look like a bunny or cat, chances are you’re also using filters on your “work pics”. Another gripe, total strangers posing on their beds in their bras and panties/thongs, also filtered. Why one would feature these shots for the promotion of good work and excellent results on someone’s hair, is beyond me.
People have completely lost it. No one should be seeing their neighbor’s wife or client in her skivvies. And personally, I’d feel really uncomfortable sharing something that is my personal space and haven (my bed), modeling my bare ass for likes. Same for using these pics for professional use. It’s tacky, just in case you missed it, or think it’s not. It is.
Also, unless Halle has concrete proof that this man is harming and abusing their kid, she’s fighting a losing battle on a sinking ship filled with her money, and her daughter’s time. If the kid has any intelligence, she will figure it all out before she leaves home, anyhow.
Don’t have kids with people you don’t genuinely like, or trust. If you’re a control freak, DON’T HAVE KIDS AT ALL. Problem solved.
