Dorothy Zbornak fan club thread

Ugh. Sorry--obviously the spacing didn't work. Let's try that again:

Season 7 was where:

- she found out she needed a hearing aid and felt old (evidently so old she forgot she already gave the "40 is young to me" speech six years earlier in the pilot)

- she was tormented by her injured mother and her mother's nurse

- the other girls voted Dorothy out of the house

- Stan's love for her was revealed to actually be love for Sophia, after which the two of them ditched her to go to dinner together

- her mother encouraged her sister to sleep with the ex-husband she'd always bashed, saying her sister was the kind of woman who needed a man while Dorothy was the kind of woman who should live with her mother. And her sister did sleep with her ex-husband--twice--IN HER OWN BED.

- she embarrassed herself falling all over a Beatles impersonator, culminating a performance she had to flee

- she was used by the old teacher she had a crush on

- she was embarrassed on television by being mistakenly exposed as a lesbian

- she found out her mother had been hoarding cash for years, forcing her to make sacrifices and live with a slut and a moron

- she tried out for Jeopardy only to be rejected and told no one would root for her

- she was dragged into court after her friend and her uncle betrayed her by putting the building's bug problem on TV instead of telling her, exposed as the Big Mean Bug Lady to the city of Miami, and sentenced to confinement with Stan

- she was mocked at the high school career day, then got a exciting new job, only to be ignored and have it turn out to be a waste of time

Her high points were solving the mystery weekend murders, having a nice date and going away with an unseen doctor, singing at the Rusty Anchor, getting to be prom queen, and ending up with Lucas. The rest of the season really wasn't that great for her.
