According to a recent study from the financial group LendingTree, Gen Zers (adults between the ages of 18 and 26) have the highest incident rates, accident rates, most DUIs and other driving issues when compared to other drivers across generations.
After analyzing "tens of millions" of insurance quotes between Jan. 1, 2023, through Nov. 30, 2023, from QuoteWizard by LendingTree, the firm broke down its findings to show how it impacts insurance rates and what Gen Z drivers can do to lower them.

Wow, by double. Drivers ed needs to be in public schools. I noticed a ton of people drive with their brights always on at night the past few years and I think a lot of zoomers legitimately don’t know you aren’t supposed to.

Duh. Has that ever not been the case? Doesn't have anything to do with being "Zoomers".

They really are not good at it. I pity my brother and his accident-prone kids.

If that has always been the case, then why has everyone complained about elderly drivers on the road, and always suggest we take their drivers licenses away from them, and get the elderly off the road ?

I agree the younger groups have always been a greater risk. But something is off with the current generation, and they don't seem to accept the reality that operating a vehicle comes with responsibility and risk to themselves and others.

It’s always been the young and to the lesser extent the elderly. I’m an older millennial. My rates went down when I turned 25. I think that’s also the magic age you can get a rental.

Young people, sucking at driving. I’m just stunned.

Very young people always have bad accident statistics. Followed closely by very old people.

They are annoying but certainly not worse drivers than anyone else

You other drivers should allow me to illegally cut across three lanes of traffic so I can exit! IT'S ALL ABOUT MEEEEEEEEEE!

Young men are reckless drivers. Always trying to speed and show off. This isn't new.

They don’t even like cars. Leave them alone

They used to teach driving in school, now they depend on parents and driving schools run by semi-literates.

My driver's ed HS teacher, in the 70s, was competent and HOT. All free. All you had to do was pay attention to his instruction. This would challenge many students today.
My typing teacher was very competent, and a fat nasty queen.
Health teacher had big junk on display in his thin tight jeans. His lessons weren't very clever, but I learned a bit staring at his crotch.

I fucking wish texting and cellphone staring behind the wheel was limited to youngsters. I see every generation doing it. I haven't seen anyone reading a book while driving in over a decade tho
