While I'm not sure how I'd have rated the "new" Swinging Richards had I not been a fan of their former location in Aventura (I gave the old place a solid 5 stars), I'm definitely not as impressed with this new location as I was with the original spot.
As others have mentioned, this place is bigger, but at the same time, everything is seemingly more $$. Just to park and walk in the place you're out $25. The admission price at their old location was more in line with entry fees to most every other gentleman's club in S. Florida. Mixed drinks now come in much smaller glasses vs. the serving size at their former location. Also, gone from their "services" menu are the table dances the other location offered. Prices start at $25 for a "friction dance". Private rooms with a model/dancer start at something like $125 for 15 minutes and rates go up exponentially from there.
Once inside, this club is quite large. There's only 1 long, rectangular stage in the new place, but it takes up the entire middle portion of this building and has 2 brass stripper poles mounted on it. There are well-stocked bars at each end of the room and a third bar up in one of the seating areas. There are plenty of places to stand and get a good view of the stage, they've got tables and seats along the sides of the stage (though not nearly as many as they should have), and a few tiers of booth seating further back as well.
I read another review that claimed the models/dancers weren't as good here and that they didn't offer as much variety as their former location. I'd tend to disagree. IMO, this place has exactly what the other location offered; Different body types, ethnicities and styles to suit nearly anyone's tastes. On the night we were here, they had a set of identical twins dancing; they of course worked right next to each other and were dressed exactly the same (one had a tattoo so one could tell them apart if you wanted to). If you're a 'size queen', you'll love this place, as even most of the smaller framed dancers had impressively sized, um, richards. They usually had at least 5 dancers on stage at any given time, doing 3 songs each...starting out with no shirt and wearing jeans, shorts or workout pants, peeling layers off while dancing and going fully nude during the 3rd song.
While Swinging Richards will most likely be successful here in their new location, especially since it's so close to Pompano Beach, Wilton Manors and Ft. Lauderdale, I do miss many things about their old location. It was more central to both Miami and Lauderdale. Also, it had 2 stages and a bar-mounted dance pole, where this place is one big open building with 1 large stage in the center. This new location also isn't as intimate as the old place, and at times you don't get the chance to greet and chat with the models/dancers you'd like to meet due to the size of this club and the amount of people packed in here. It also really lacks the fun and lively atmosphere that the old place had. I think it's in part due to the lack of seating near the stage. Most patrons are seated back in the booths, at the bars or standing away from the stage just watching the "show", rather than being close to the action and tipping.
