A few years it was on Hulu and it was on HBO Max for awhile last year or this year.

Fuck that, where is “Phyllis???”

It's streaming on Amazon Prime in the UK. Legit one of the best dark comedies of the 90s IMO.

YES! I saw it in 2020. It's on one of the streamers. I just checked and it was on Hulu, but it is not anymore. What's the deal?

There have been several movies that have cult type followings, but are rarely on streaming services and when they are put on streaming services they are taken off about a year later. The 90s kids movie Now and Then was like this. It wasn't a hit at the box office, but it gained popularity through cable airings and VHS rentals. It was only put on Netlix back in 2019 and then was on free VOD services like Pluto or Tubi for awhile.

Dick (1999) does occasionally pop on Crackle and on Showtime apps here and there. But, I don't think it's been on Netflix or Hulu. It's sort of similar with some of the lesser known slasher movies from the late 90s/early 00s like Valentine and Urban Legend. Both weren't great movies, but are campy fun to watch at times. They are the type of movies that are mostly on the free VODs like Pluto, Tubi, IMDB TV, or Crackle.

One of my all-time favorite comedies.

It's also one movie that could NEVER get made today.

Pretty sure Kirstie Alley didn't have to do much to put herself into character to play that crazy entitled cunt Gladys Leeman. She is an obnoxious Trump supporter, after all.

I loved both Drop Dead Gorgeous and Dick. Always thought starring in Spiderman derailed Kirsten Dunst (at least temporarily) from the more offbeat films that are her specialty.

FFS can we have one fucking thread without Trump being mentioned?

She's skinny, Amber, not deaf.

Oh, yeah, sure, Freda, sure. She was the oldest living Lutheran, now she's dead as a doornail. It's the damn Shriners who won't take down the Goddamn sign, the lazy sons of bitches.

I can sum up our entire philosophy with this glass. I can look at it and say it's half-full, which in the beauty pageant biz means "where the hell's my waiter?
