But then, it is the proof that black men, in your words: are wimpy men who won't be in black women corner.
I actually acknowledged this, by drawing attention to Black men who frequently degrade and put down Black women. Do you not recall?
And aren't black men holding power and subjugating you, black women, just like men do with the rest of the world? You fall a lot into contradiction, first you say that Black men are alpha and then (when we find another aplha over them.white men) you say that alpha are insecure.
Not all Black men, no. However, a large portion of Black men, due to racism and historical subjugation do have a skewed view of masculinity from being emasculated themselves by White men. They've taken the worst examples of masculinity [bold]from White men[/bold] and emulated the behavior because it was this same behavior that was used to disempower them. It is a subconscious attempt to regain that power. It's toxic, destructive and having the opposite effect in that it's actually harming Black women and the community overall. There is no need to "educate" me on the many problems that we have nor how much Black women have suffered and continue to suffer at the hands of our own men. Believe me, I already know.
Also, I never used the term "alpha" specifically. You did. I said "confidence" after focusing on the sensuality/sexual vibe aspect. Those two ingredients alone, does not an alpha male make. Humility and strong family values are also needed. A healthy balance of all is required to reach alpha status. Frankly, men of all racial groups struggle to encapsulate the entire package. But they, too, exist.
wouldn't you find them corny?
No. Because, once again, doubling-back to what I was referring to with the sensuality/soulful attributes, that's what "gives them a boost." Examples of this would be Obama, MLK, Jr., Malcolm X (when he calmed tf down a bit lol) etc. The Black men who built up Black Wall Street, for example. A man with both street sense and book sense (i.e. Huey P. Newton). It's a bit difficult to articulate, but you "know" it when you see it. It's in their eyes, which are said to be the "windows to the soul." So, there's a bit of spirituality encompassed in this "recipe," also.
