Tomas Brand is 54 and looks amazing, but maybe he's the exception since he has a normal life back in Stockholm. As for steroids it depends on the genetics, some age well (Darius Ferdynand), other age horribly (Matt Cole, Massimo Piano).
Probably unhealthy lifestyle more than anything: partying, stressful private life, DRUGS etc. Also they become bloated. They run steroids badly. Heavy tan damages their skin as well.

Part of the reason is that we see them with makeup and good lighting in the porn films.
Then when we see them without all that, they seem to have aged ten years overnight.
Add drugs to that, and then actual aging, and there you have it.
But just know, the fresh dewy faces early in their careers are heavily enhanced with makeup.
