R3, R5, and R9 speak the truth… it’s because he’s a mensch who saw that an innocent kid was at risk of ending up in a very bad situation with no responsible parental figures. So he took it upon himself to be Liv’s “father” and she was damned lucky he did.

she appears to have been very lucky.....and has expressed as much, i believe. so many horror stories from that era. I would assume it has only made Todd a better person.
