R5, maybe OP is talking about when your "search term" is an image that you've uploaded/pasted a URL for, and you get all instances of where that exact image has been used. I don't think that what I've just described is how it is anymore - Google Lens just returns "similar" images rather than exact copies, as was previously the case.

I think you have to select "find image source" after it loads similar images
