We all know the celebrities that have severely caused irreparable (IMHO) damage to their face, Shania Twain, Nicole Kidman, Sandra Bullock, Keith Urban, John Travolta, Renee Zellweger, etc

I think Catherine Zeta-Jones, JLo, or Elizabeth Chambers might cave and destroy their beauty. I wonder what type of surgery, cheek implants, eye lift, face lift?

I mean really why did Shania opt to ruin her beauty. Honestly, I found myself shocked. I did not even recognize Shania.

We don't know what Shania actually looked like in recent years because she was living as a recluse in Switzerland. She might have been really haggard prior to all these interventions.

Seriously, she looked terrible. I almost felt like if I poked her she might deflate. I love Shania. Her performance last night was very shaky and she lacked so much energy. I hated the whole sitting with her guitar and godly outfit. She is normally so very well put together.

She seems really old. She barely moved around on stage, and her speaking voice sounded slow and old-lady-like. She obviously lip-synced her performance.

R9 she appeared petrified to me at the start of her song. Honestly, her song sucked. As soon as she began singing her classics she got up moving. Interesting psychology her performance.

She's had a shit-ton of plastic surgery and her nose is already a nubbin of its former self, she doesn't even look like the person she was in her early films. Now that she's over forty, and crazier than ever, it's only a matter of time before she goes too far.

Shania Twain had Lyme disease. Not sure if that's the reason for the bloating, but she does look filled out. She looked fine in 2011.

I think Shania has suffered from the same thing that happened to Madonna. Losing a husband and approaching middle age fucked them up and fucked up their faces. Both of their careers have depended on their sex appeal and looks and somehow the combination of failed marriages and aging really took a toll. Mutt Lange really fucked over Shania and I don't think she's ever been the same.

Mutt had a great deal to do with Shania's success. Mediocre songs from the get go (and performance at the AMA 2019.Why is she performing in a bathrobe? Seems like she is on some sort of psych drug regime. Embarrassing. Taylor Swift in the audience over acting her into- it- ness. No amount of light show and gyrating dancers can save this atrocity of a performance

R25 yes, she was acting drugged. If you watch her performance really watch her eyes. I’m not sure Shania is doing well emotionally.

I found it interesting. The new song reveal is literally a hot mess like her wearing an ungodly shower curtain and hiding her body while she sings low. Her introduction was almost embarrassing for me to watch. Seriously, she is a hot mess. Same is true after Mutt left her. Her new music is a reflection of her mental instability. Cover up your body and hide.

Then she begins to sing her and Mutt’s classics and she transforms. Interesting. It’s difficult to put into words my point.

The sad thing is Shania can't sing anymore. Her last tour was completely lipped. She has been open about losing her voice but they have been pushing the narrative that she can sing again when she can't.

I'm surprised only that YOU cunts don't know the extent to which EVERY celebrity north of 40 has had at least some work done, even if it's only light Botox work & fillers early on. And this goes for the men as well, unless you seriously believe male pattern baldness has somehow magically gone extinct among all A-list actors not named Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

Since politicians qualify as celebs these days as well, are you seriously unaware of how many of them have had work done as well? And no, I don't just mean permatan bleach-blond Trump: the set of Chiclets Joe Biden sports are most definitely NOT his natural teeth, and if you spend about 20 seconds looking at Elizabeth Warren while speaking, you'll note that her forehead NEVER moves. (And is "surprisingly" wrinkle-free for a 70-year-old woman.)

Shania Twain had Lyme disease, as someone above mentioned. She dropped out of music for years. Lyme can cause neurological and neuro-muscular problems, and her vocal cords were damaged. She even has had surgery on her vocal cords to be able to sing as well as she can now. It’s trendy to make fun of people with Lyme disease for some reason but it can do serious damage. It’s not a joke. It can also cause inflammation and it is associated with inflammatory autoimmune diseases (the infection may trigger/catalyze a lifelong autoimmune illness that persists even after the infection is treated). Not nice to make fun of someone who has been through such an illness.

I do think Shania has some type of illness I don't think it's just plastic surgery.

As for Helen Hunt, I STILL can't explain what happened to her face. What exactly did she have done? A face lift? Her face just looks so strange. It's like her eyes are sunken in. And her whole face looks skeletal. Not just think but bony skeletal. It's really awful.

I always imagined she would not age well since she always had a hard face but not to this extent.

R12, JLo would look good if she stopped wearing such heavy makeup.

Her makeup application and technique ages her by at least 10 years. She has great skin, and while I understand she needs some help in the eyelashes department, the rest is overdone, & cakes into the creases of her face.

The less, the better, especially if you’re already naturally attractive.

Yes, she would look better with less makeup.

Almost everyone looks better with less makeup. And there’s a certain type of beauty, that is ruined by makeup, altogether. It’s difficult to describe, because it’s not just a certain “look”, but I’ve seen numerous times.

Some women are just too naturally beautiful to wear makeup. Wearing it is almost the equivalent to putting makeup on the Mona Lisa.

JLo isn’t too beautiful for makeup, but she’s naturally pretty, and the makeup hardens her face, while her natural, no makeup face is actually quite soft and feminine. Why ruin that? It makes zero sense.

Shania has Lyme disease. It's chronic, meaning it'll never go away. It'll always be a problem for her. I suffer with it too. And believe me it's awful. It's basically ruined my life, as I live most of my life feeling like shit and have considered suicide as the only remedy. Please be kind to this woman. Awful and very expensive disease to have.

Jennifer Lopez could probably pass for 30 in person, unless you look really close and with a critical eye.

Whatever she's had done, it's SUPERB! But it can't last, someday her doctors are going to go too far, and she's just too damn determined to hold on to her youth at all costs. She's going to end up looking at bad as Madonna, or Suzanne Summers.
