A number of young ladies in the business school at my Swiss university are fascinated by Jeffree Star, James Charles, Kylie Jenner, etc. Take it or leave it. It's a mixed bag right? They aren't deluded that the products are great and they don't buy them! But they like the "successful entrepreneurial influencer" cosplay and respect the game. It doesn't irritate me. These girls are not intellectuals, at all.
