R5, Eduardo actually broke up with his girlfriend to move in with Ricky Martin in the late 90's, and the two of them had sex with every man that crossed their path. In the mid-noughties Eduardo became a religious fundamentalist, stopped taking raw loads from rich men in exchange for money (his pimp until then had been Manny Bonet, who "represented" several other handsome male "artists") and started cozying up to far-right Mexican politicians.
He has been the lover of the despicable former president Peña Nieto (who is close to being tried for corruption, collaborating with drug cartels and helping to massacre political disidents), who until recently was financing Eduardo's project of building the largest Christ statue in the world - see the link below. Eduardo doesn't have a degree of any kind nor professional experience in politics, so the fact that he is so close to the Trump administration, is surprising to say the least. Before he met Ricky Martin, he used to be a model, very bad singer and even worse actor that was not particularly successful. The fact that he has climbed this high, given his lack of talent, academic credentials and the fact that he hasn't had a real job in almost 20 years, is strange to say the least.
