A well known similar project was done by a professional photographer Nicholas Nixon photographing his wife and three sisters for over forty years. The series is called the Brown Sisters and this gallery film is from 2014, but the project continues to this day. Nicholas Nixon is also known for a series on AIDS patients that was early in the epidemic and raised awareness about the disease with very stark brutally honest images.

They still look really young for 34 year olds.
I agree that they looked much more alike when they were younger. Now they look very different from each other, despite the hair.
It's rare to see identical triplets, so that part was kind of cool.
