I think it’s the opposite, MAGA Republicans are usually fat because they resist living in dense urban areas so they drive everywhere, plus they eat at Olive Garden and Cheesecake Factory. Their women usually have tragic frosted/bleached hair and wear Capri pants year round.
Ultra rich Republicans are another story, because they can usually afford to look better.
I think the fat and unattractive Democrats are usually the SJW types, but we don’t like them either.

Republicans try and try and try to look like something they are supposed to look like, some concept of who they believe they are, and the result is that they don't look like anything real or natural.
Thus the bleached blond hair on middle aged women, the ill-fitting suits and toupees on men, the MAGA hats and assault rifles toted around, etc. To me it's all so ugly.
Democrats are more content to be who they actually are and thus look more natural and authentic, and not like some artificial concept.

Like if any of them walked into a business meeting in NY, LA, SF or DC, there would be a flurry of Slacks about "who let the Walmart shoppers in" and people would speak slowly and loudly to them as if they were too dumb to understand.

And let's not start on the mass of glued-together piss flaps that goes by the name of Donald Trump. Or that the average Trump rally could easily be mistaken from a slide of plant life taken out of Love Canal.
In short, no, I think Republicans are not any more attractive than Democrats and that the current crop look like liquid shit.
