Alex Donnelley's Diane was perfectly suited to be his wife in a way Strippi never was. Gorgeous, sophisticated, and with her own career/interests, while pretty devoted to him.

I don't know why his pairing with Nikki is so popular, she was so dependent on him it was embarrassing.
