I have no idea where they are now but I'd think I'd start looking in Kentucky. They were the daughters of my grandmother's boss at American Air Filter in Louisville and known as the Barnstable twins locally. Grandma would always mention that fact when a Doublemint commercials came on. Here they are at this years Derby, looking good in an overworked Orange County Housewives kind of way.
Louisville's other big celebrity, besides Muhammad Ali, was Foster Brooks who was a comedian who always played like he was drunk (because chronic alcoholism is HILARIOUS) and Phyllis Diller, who though not a native (she was from up the road in Dayton, Ohio) was always in town as the spokeswoman for our local Paramount Pickles brand.

Ah, I didn't follow OP's link. There were multiple pairs of twins and the Barnstables were one of the pairs along the line sometime in the 70s.
