I came across this article at the "Documenting Reality" website. They have a large number of fascinating incidents they cover as you'll see from the menu. Poulsbo, Washington is a popular tourist town with a large Scandinavian population and heritage. Their annual lutefisk feed brings people from long distances. We all agree there are bad apple cops, but they are in the minority. In this case the cop was a hero, taking out someone who could have killed a civilian or the officer himself. This happened after the officers tried repeatedly to deescalate the situation.
