Christianity, especially the fundamentalist, evangelical type of Christianity, attracts very broken, fucked up people, who are seeking redemption, and want to be told what to do and how to think.
Shame is reinforced upon congregants on a regular basis every Sunday, and in between Sundays. Once the shame is deeply imbedded, it’s time for the born again to start protecting their unresolved shit on others, including ex lovers, great teachers who also happen to be LGBTQ, on doctors who perform legal, medical abortions, on all gays and lesbians, on politicians who are centrists, on those leaning left, on any media outlet that isn’t FOX, or Brietbart, on police officers attempting to do their jobs on 1/6, on Hollywood, on the alleged “elites”, on people of color, on women, on vaccines and even on a freakin’ paper mask that could help save your life, and basically on everyone else who doesn’t cater to their bullshit beliefs.
I kinda feel sorry for her. She’s seems to be exploited everywhere she goes, and is too stupid to figure it out for herself.
As for Tyler? Adopting a teen in order to fuck her, is profoundly disturbing, as it shows that he knew exactly what he was doing, and wanted to be legally protected on a mere technicality, yet wasn’t willing to marry her, either.
