It seems to be against popular opinion, but Petras is the weak point. I'm old and out of it, and didn't realize she was trans. The edgy white girl schtick was old to me 20 years ago, though, and she doesn't bring anything fresh to it. And her feature doesn't really make sense in the context of the song. While this isn't my favorite song of all time, Sam Smith's voice sounds great and the lyrics only work as well as they do because of his Michael Bublé-adjacent tone. The Cabaret-ish choreography was a smart decision, as was keeping his shirt on. His face still works for him, which is probably another unpopular opinion.
I kind of hated "I'm Not Here to Make Friends," both the song and the video.
