R7, RFK, Jr. now believes that Sirhan Sirhan was not his father's killer, much to the dismay of his siblings.
He also fought hard for, and won, the release from prison of his murderer cousin, Michael Skakel.

*Sigh*, what ever happened to the good old days when whack-a-dos stuck to spotting UFOs, Bigfoot and Nessie and left the rest of us in relative peace?

And he is probably correct, though Sirhan tried his hardest. Sirhan was firing from the front. The fatal wound was to the brain BEHIND the ear, in line where Bobby's bodyguard was situated. Like Sirhan the bodyguard carried .22 cal revolver which he disposed of very shortly after the incident. Doubt it was a conspiracy, just an accident in the tumult of the moment.

RFK Jr has been a strong advocate for clean water for years. He has however been going down the conspiracy rabbit hole on other issues as well.
My theory on children's vaccinations is that due to many toxins in our food and environment some children are already at the tipping point of acquiring autism and the numerous vaccines can be a trigger. My second cousin's son and one neighbor's kid who were both fine until obtaining one of the required vaccines , had immediate side effects and never recovered, and soon being diagnosed as autistic. For probably over 95% there is are no side effects but for some it can be a final catalyst.

The only compelling argument I've read about concerns over vaccines is the increase in the number of shots over the past 25 years.
Children used to get 5 shots and not more than one shot in a single visit before the age of 2 prior to late 80's. Now, kids could get up to 27 shots and up to 6 shots in a single visit before the age of 2. That's concerning for a lot of people.
I don't see the arguments talking about this though - it's become all anti-vaccine, which is ridiculous. And we have to take some of these stories seriously instead of just calling people crazy.
There IS a large increase in autism and some people's kids have changed dramatically after vaccines. I can't believe every one of those are fabrications.

"some people's kids have changed dramatically after vaccines" - no, they haven't.

When the big techs do cancel culture just because you are not following their agendas, George Orwell, at this point, was a prophet. They just had to restrict his account for a few days or delete his anti-vax posts. But acting so radically makes him look like a victim which will strengthen the anti vax people in their opinion.
And this is something that America doesn't understand it.

R16 - and that's the denial that drives people to anti-vaccine theories. Not all of them are liars.

People give rich women shit for believing in the power of crystals, using cupping to extract toxins, and steaming their vaginas, but rich men with fucked up beliefs typically get a pass. Glad he's being called out for being a lunatic.

R15 I don’t know where your kids are getting vaccinated, but my 11 month olds have yet to receive SIX shots in one visit. I think the most vaccines they have ever received at one time has been three: one regular shot vaccine, one flu shot, and one oral vaccine. Our pediatrician follows the guidelines for vaccine spacing.
I go to their next appointment in a month so I’ll check then, but there is a sign on the door that has facts about vaccines. Apparently in the past thirty years the amount of “pathogens” (maybe not the right term, but like I said I’ll double check at their next appointment ) in each vaccine has decreased drastically. Over the years they have updated vaccines and they are a lot more refined today than we all originally got them.

R23 - I'm not disputing whether the vaccines are better than in the past, just that the recommended schedule has a lot more shots than there used to be.
Fears like this don't come out of thin air - but obviously it's become blown out of proportion to ridiculous measures.
They need to find out why autism has increased so much in the past 20 years. And they need to look at the vaccine schedule - some of which are just not needed. Hep B?
What babies are contracting Hep B???

I know someone with 3 kids. The first two were vaccinated. They both now suffer from autism. She decided to not vaccine the 3rd one and she does not suffer with autism. I wonder if it may have something to do with someone's genes.

Tell your friend to have 1000 more kids in a double blind study (she wears a blindfold and random guys who fuck her do as well) before you make your conclusions, R28.

The bar to get a diagnosis has also widened (or lowered) greatly. It's not "autism", it's now "the specgrum"
| by Anonymous | reply 31 | February 12, 2021 12:29 AM |
R24. It might be that the DIAGNOSIS of autism has greatly increased in the past 20-40 years, especially with the broadening of it as a spectrum disorder, rather than the actual number of people on the spectrum increasing.
| by Anonymous | reply 32 | February 12, 2021 12:49 AM |
The autism spectrum catches all sorts of autism from verbal to non-verbal. In the 70s and 80s they were all called mentally retarded without knowing why. And what do 3 month old babies do other than lie in bed and flip over? Autism gets noticed once a child should start talking and parents realize they arent doing so. Or maybe a kid has echolalia in the first place and repeats every single word they hear on tv making parents think kid is a talker and when they stop doing so, they scream the vaccines caused it! That unfortunately coincides a few months aftr their 12 and 18 month shots.
