He has said in other interviews that he used to record sexual encounters back then.
Only one is online and that's the one he's talking about where it is he, his then friend and an adult woman together in a hotel having sex.
Although, sometimes he is referring to the "other" tape that R4 is talking about.
That was a pretty complex case. Back then in Alabama the age of consent wasn't 18 so he only got in trouble for recording it. (The laws hadn't all caught up yet.) There was also the matter of the girl using a fake ID to get into a bar with a much older friend. Finally there were issues with her parents.
I wish he wouldn't bring it up at all since it's disgusting and I just like thinking of him as the goofy guy from Parks & Rec.

He left a hugely successful show, one of the best ever on television, at the height of its popularity because he said he was led to believe the show would focus more closely on his character and he would be the obvious lead character -- which supposedly was how the show was conceived in the beginning -- but then Sorkin et al. began to focus more on others, particularly Martin Sheen.
