The worst thing that ever happened to me was when my mom moved us from Berkeley to Redding when I was a sophomore in high school in the 1970's. When we got cable TV, I forced her to watch "Deliverance" so she'd understand who my classmates were. I got straight A's and scholarships and left for UC Santa Cruz, which turned out to be Redding-By-The-Sea, so I moved to San Francisco, where I've lived happily ever after.
I didn't believe this ignorant racist cunt's story for a minute.
