She kept attempting to prove her talent (which was real). It's sort of sad she'll be remembered more for her body.

Her only talent was being gorgeous.
God, that was so fucking amateurish.

She's no Fifth Dimension.

She was channeling her inner Mitzi.

Raquel Welch is so talentless it bothers me. I've only heard the shittiest things about her

This seems to be a divisive video!

The only video of Raquel Welch and music that is worth a shit.
Mainly, because she doesn't sing.
The music is very ahead-of-its-time.
But thank god for cuts -- to make her dancing look OK.

Sorry Raquel, but this is how it's done.

Looks like one of Julie Taymor's bad dreams.

You have to admit that the widespread use of LSD had a very interesting effect on the arts of the era.
THOSE COSTUMES!

I have never seen that one, OP. Here's a trailer I had never seen but found yesterday for another thread.

R10 - god I love Forman’s movie version! And treat Williams and the other boys are so freaking sexy! Remember that number in the recruiting office - White boys/black boys? Soooooo fabulous!

Mayanified Greek gods open the routine with astrological poses.
I wish I could have seen the cat fight when Barbara Eden discovered that Raquel had raided her dressing room.
Then it's Annie Oakley via Cher. Culturally Apropalyptic. I wonder if this is what the Mayans predicted?
Although Welch is beautiful and that's a beautiful singing voice. 8/10 for festive fun.

Oh, no, YOU DON'T want to name your movie "FLARE UP," r13!
I got her modern-day "flare up" right here! Come in for a close-up.

Such as r6? Please spill!

Wow op! That was craptacular! So what on earth was it made for? A tv special? Or was it filler material for a miss universe pageant held in some Latin American country?
Think I loved her let the sunshine in outfit the most - it harkens back to her outfit in Myra Breckinridge! Fabulous!
I imagine her lack of singing talent and acting ability posed some difficulty for the choreographer and director till they came up with a solution: verse - slow. Chorus - fast! And lots of cutaways to the color and movement of the other costumed players to make it seem snappy and like something is actually happening...
Points for the male eye candy tho! - some beautiful bodies amongst that overproduced mess!
