and she can really sing. This live version (of a song I love) is almost as good as the record.

He is still hot, but just older.

Correct, R2. I saw them open for Cher six years ago (and have seen them in appearances since) and they both look and sound fantastic, and he's definitely still hot!

The difference between Stevie Nicks and Pat is she remained together with her guitarist husband for 30+ years and had 2 kids with him while still living a a rock and roll lifestyle. The sad part is she lost herself and her husband mainly controls her... so I guessed stevie wins.

I remember seeing her in Buffalo, late ‘80s and I couldn’t keep my eyes off him. Still remember him to this day. She was great but he had an incredible stage presence as well.
David Johansen opened for her and the VPL was clear in the 15th row.

Really? What does/did he do? We had a Pat Benatar thread here about a decade ago and the contributor said she was OTT out of her station demanding diva and bitchy (by the 90s she had no cachet), but Nick Geraldo was a diplomatic buffer.
Love to hear the two sides.

Here's an odd fact I found in The World According to Garp IMDB page.
She was offered Glenn Close's role? Really? Hard to picture. Maybe the wife role but the mother?
According to Variety magazine, the role of Jenny Fields was offered to Pat Benatar, but she turned it down to continue her musical career.
