Datalounge hates him but Mario is very popular. He’s reasonably attractive and reasonably charismatic but nothing too exciting—perfect for an entertainment news show (Seacrest, Jason Kennedy, etc)
Natalie got the Access Hollywood job after Billy Bush was fired. She was never a good fit in that show since she’s a newsreader at heart. Maybe NBC News will give her the Ann Curry treatment by keeping her on staff but off camera.
