There is no mention of a husband taking advantage of her. Looks like she only married on, and was divorced a few decades before her death in 1991.
I always thought she was funny.

I loved her recurring role on Sanford & Son too. When she played off of Fred G Sanford it was hilarious!

Sent her a fan letter in 1965 and she sent back an autographed 5x7 photo and a signed letter that thanked me and encouraged me to keep watched "The Hillbillies".
It looked just like this only a a different inscription. Looks like it's selling for $180.....I'm rich!
