The most fucked-up ever was Sebastian Young. Though he did gay porn, he was straight and went to jail dozens of times, once for beating his wife, and also for raping his 5 year old daughter (he gave her an STD). Later he died in a police shoot-out

Porn is one of those industries that does attract a higher percentage of damaged & criminally minded people, but there are still lots of porn stars who are relatively normal people, albeit people who are probably exhibitionists. Frankly, I think anyone who does porn is an exhibitionist, but that doesn't automatically make them crazy.
And then there are those who only do porn to advertise their wares for the prostitution endeavors. What other industry pays you to provide advertisements for your product instead of you paying them?

As of March 2020 (beginning of Covid) apparently Barett Long is homeless according to his last posts on FB. He has a second FB account under a different name and his photo definitely looks like a homeless man living in his car.
He was hot and seemed to be doing well financially at one point. Apparently he had a serious motorcycle accident which sent him into a tailspin.
