Watching this out of curiosity and Yikes... If there was ever a film that deserves its universally panned reputation, it's Jane Wagner's MOMENT BY MOMENT. Perhaps the worst directed, written and acted film I've seen in a very long time. Impossibly forced yet complete lack of any concept of chemistry between the two leads. Kinda fascinating as like a "is someone pointing a gun at them?" movie, but not fun enough to be camp.

My former partner loved terrible movies more than anything else on the face of the earth. On two separate occasions we made it partway through this crapfest before we got bored and started fooling around. Eventually we finished it and wondered how tense the Tomlin/Wagner relationship must've been for a time after its release.

Travolta is. Flaming in real life. A total turnoff

Christopher Plummer should have played the Lily Tomlin role. It would have been a lot more realistic.

I remember seeing this when I was about 8, & was instantly attracted by Travolta’s body hair.

That's funny, r2. I had read over the years how terrible this is but I love Lily Tomlin so tried to give it a chance but it's soooo boring. It's not even so bad it's good, just BAD. I've never made it all the way through.
