L.A. rapper MoneySign Suede is DEAD TO ME !

Officials confirmed the death of a popular young L.A. rapper known as MoneySign Suede after he was reportedly stabbed in the showers at a California prison on Tuesday evening.

The incident took place at the Correctional Training Facility in Soledad, where he was serving a 32-month sentence for a pair of gun charges, reports the Los Angeles Times.

The rapper, whose real name is Jaime Brugada Valdez, was originally from Huntington Park in California. He had received support from fans and other artists in the weeks leading up to his death, calling for him to be released from prison via posts on social media.

“People are very shocked,” said Nicholas Rosenberg, Valdez’s attorney. “He was a very popular guy, very mild-mannered. People loved him.”
