Well, he's hotter than Billy Eichner, at least.

I don’t know why, but I don’t find “gay” films enjoyable.
Also, there’s nothing funny in this trailer.

The hot bartender/chef is worth a look.

Seems like there's a lot of very wrong things with this whole idea. The manipulation, the lying, the whole thing embraces a toxic dating style. This is really bad.

Two questions. Who plays Nico and who plays Christianano?

R4 You realize this is a very real-life scenario and sometimes movies imitate real life - good or bad

R5 It was so weird just now I typed "My Fake Boyfriend" into Google, and the first link was the cast list at IMDB.

This looks like low budget dreck.

It's pretty nice. Love the whole friendship dynamic early on between Andrew (Keiynan Lonsdale), Jake (Dylan Sprouse) and Kelly (Sarah Hyland).
Dylan McDermott (Mr. Tori Spelling) is surprisingly funny as Director with a British accent.
And then there's Canada's National Treasure Karen Robinson (Schitt's Creek), of course.

Arab guy at 1:17 is [italic]hoooot.[/italic] Eyebrows snatched to perfection and I'm so glad he didn't Clairol his beard, that's always a sign of a raging narcissist.

Lots of eye candy but it's a shame the writing was just awful.

And DLers claim that coming out has no effect on an actor's career...

I find this premise modestly entertaining and will probably watch it.
In general, I find the predictable story beats of certain movies to be soothing.

The whole idea that the fake boyfriend would not only become instafamous but also actually famous without actually physically interacting with anyone is ridiculous. But then again, the whole plot is ridiculous.

The gay story plot is very Hallmark, but I can't make any sense of the straight plot with the friend being so obsessed with his grift (which is basically scamming people out of their money). Dude should've gone to prison for that, but it's not even an issue.

The fact that the only person who faced any consequences was the cheating ex-boyfriend was ironically hilarious.

JFC. This look BAD.
I like the cast but, this film sucks balls, no doubt.

That's not saying much. So is Mitch McConnell.

Dylan McDermott is most definitely NOT Mr. Tori Spellilng. (Neither is Dermot Mulroney.)
I assume you meant DEAN McDermott.
