She also supports the revolution in Iran and is expressing frustration that she goes on talk shows and is asked about Ukraine but NOT about Iran.

I found only two outlets that even reported on Chastain's support of women in Iran: Glamour last month and a red carpet moment with ET in October.

In contrast, I found dozens of outlets that reported on Chastain going to Ukraine and supporting Zelenskyy, most major newspapers as well as an appearance on Kimmel about it.

That's what she's talking about, that she can't get anyone to pay attention when she's talking about Iran, and she thinks it's because the press isn't as concerned with a revolution about non-white women.

What Chastain fails to acknowledge is that the thing preventing her from speaking about Iran openly is the nutso horseshoe theory Far Left nutjobs she associates. There’s a blind spot with extremist liberals when it comes to Islam and the Middle East. Their world exists in a currency of oppression and dark skin holds the most cache. Even if the people with dark skin seemingly preach everything they fight against, their virtue gives them credibility and prevents them from accountability.

To discuss oppression in Mideast Islamic cultures, one would have to acknowledge there is oppression there. And people who hold up signs saying FEMINISTS AND LGBTQ FOR ISLAM won’t or can’t ever accept that.

And if whiteness plays into the discussion about Ukraine, it’s because white people are the only people you can speak of critically and with authenticity without saying a lot of fake, virtue-signaling bullshit like “I’ve never known Middle Eastern people to be violent!”
