I met Brian when he was 14y/o and would see him briefly a few times a year until he went to college. I met him because for many years I knew his father Paul, a long-time Lobbyist for the Airline Pilots Association who died of cancer a few years ago. His father was a good-looking guy with Italian roots from New Jersey and his mother Margo was stunningly attractive, fit and tall with great thick hair. I think she has some South Pacific/Filipino mix, which you can see in Brian and his sister's eyes. They were an upper middle-class family with a big house in the woods of Calvert County, Md and Brian commuted to DC's private school Gonzaga every day. I don't think he ever did sports or theater.
When I first met Brian Hallisay, I was about 25 and I thought he may be gay because he was so cute. As the years passed, I realized he was a typical DC prep school kid but much smarter and better looking than most. I wasn't surprised when his dad told me he moved to LA. He landed a movie with Paris Hilton as soon as he got to Hollywood. He also co-starred in the reboot of the Bionic Woman but that show was canceled.
