The new documentary “Janet Jackson” — which premieres on Lifetime and A&E in two parts over Friday and Saturday nights — revisits a night when one such Starman showed up with his own party favors.
“I remember one of the parties that we had, [David] Bowie came,” Janet Jackson said of her family’s brush with Ziggy Stardust. “And I guess to get away from everyone, he was looking for a little room.”
“Michael and I are sitting in one of the other rooms away from the party,” said Randy Jackson. “So Bowie walks in and … he offered us some of what he was doing to get high.
“We just looked at each other. We were like, ‘No.’ We didn’t know what it was, but it was like, ‘Nah, no thank you.’”
But the Jacksons weren’t so welcome by everyone in the affluent white neighborhood of Encino.
“They had this petition going around so that we wouldn’t be in the neighborhood,” said Janet.

Lulu said that he tried to get her to go down dark avenues. I assume heroin or anal.

They have a party and then hid in another room away from the party, that is so Jackson. I am surprised they didn't hand out WatchTower pamphlets at their party or did they.

Yes, Janet, we get it. It's the white man's fault your brother was fucked up.

See, this is where Janet loses me.
And before any Janbots come at me, I'm the one who posted that Timberlake would've earned my respect if he had, in 2018, told the Super Bowl Half-Time sponsor, "No. I won't perform unless Janet is invited to perform, too." but that asshole didn't and deserved every criticism he got.
So, Bowie offered you drugs at a party. Yawn. And, he's dead, so now she says this?

Timberlake wanted Janet for his Superbowl performance. He's apparently set to appear in Episode 4 of the documentary series. Didn't Janet sign to the same management company AFTER the Superbowl incident?

Well thank goodness that Nancy told Jacko to Just Say No.

Timberlake is rumored to be the surprise guest.
This documentary is going to be FIRE!

Having David Bowie waltz into a party, and wanting to hang out with me, with or without drugs would be a high-point in my life.
And with all that is known about the Jackson family, this scenario is hardly something that could be considered a disturbing moment.

So? Just typical Hollywood party stuff.

So he was being polite and generous. Good for him.

The Jacksons crack me up by still attempting to peddle that wholesome babe in the woods bullshit to this day. If I search hard enough, I just might be able to come up with a pic showing the Jackson 4 down to Marlon in age with huge fros during the early 1970s with eyes so cherry red that you'd wonder why you never came across some smoke to make your eyes just the same.
Shit! Bowie even offered ME drugs once, but I knew just to smile and say "no."

Seriously, she and the rest of her weirdo siblings just can't seem to find a cure to their pathologically chronic cases of diarrhea of the mouth.

The Jacksons attended Bowie's LA performance of the 1974 "Diamond Dogs" tour. At the time, it was considered the most theatrical tour ever mounted, with elaborate sets and costumes (Bowie lost a fortune on it, which no doubt inspired him to go minimalist on his next tour in 1976 for "Station to Station").
Little Wacko must have been taking copious notes, since he eventually became known for his own outlandishly theatrical stage spectacles.
Bowie's then-wife Angie Bowie wrote in her memoir that the next day they visited the Jacksons at their Encino home, and that Diana Ross was there. (She said Diana was wonderful with her daughters).
I imagine this is the occasion Janet and Randy are talking about. Bowie was coked out of his gourd from '74 through '76. It's a miracle he survived. Yeah, not cool to offer cocaine to kids, but he likely had no idea what he was doing.
Meanwhile, do they have anything to say about Wacko and his "Jesus Juice"?

Nasty mouth janet, that kind of thing should have just stayed in the room where it happened. He was just being polite. Dumb bitch.

WELL that must be why MJ was a pedo! Always make yourself out to be the victim!

Michael and David are dead. Janet is alive and irrelevant.

In the grand scheme of things, this is going to look like Bowie offered Jackson much better options than the pop-star's death. .

Has her Wahabi ex been implicated in anything?

Is this the bio thread? It’s like 5 minutes of show, and 10 minutes of commercials.
