Waukesha is currently Milwaukee's largest suburb although it has a long history as an independent city, so unlike most of Waukesha County, which is 90% generic suburban sprawl, it actually has a city center and some nice urban-ish neighborhoods, as well as a large Latino population. (It does also have a lot of generic suburban sprawl too.) It's not my cup of tea personally, but it's not a bad place to live at all. Neither the guy who ran over the parade people, nor this precious angel, are actually from Waukesha.
I disagree with the above posters that Wisconsin will turn red (not that it won't turn red, but I'm saying it's not a sure thing). Like the rest of the county Waukesha was historically very Republican, but it's shifting toward the Democrats - it recently elected it's first Democratic mayor in many decades (possibly first ever, not sure). The Milwaukee suburbs have been unusually Republican for big city suburbs but that is shifting so there is a lot of room for Democrats to grow in the state. If you dig into the numbers Biden won Wisconsin by roughly the same margin as Gore did in 2000 but the coalition has shifted a lot, with rural areas going very red while Milwaukee suburbs have shifted blue. If I had to pick between being in the position of Republicans growing in small, declining population rural counties, or Democrats growing in large, growing suburban counties, I'd pick the Democrats' position.

And that could change their minds at election time. It could make them vote republican or not vote.

Waukesha County is ultra racist, and generally not very-well educated. The only reason why it isn't (still) a poor backwater is because of the huge amount of white flight out of Milwaukee county in the 60's-70's. The people who left were generally the kids of the Eastern European peasants who immigrated to Milwaukee in the late 1800's / early 1900's. The county's relative wealth has declined steadily since 1980- interestingly, a number of the rich types have moved back to downtown Milwaukee. Property taxes in this county would stop a clock- somebody from LA or NYC would have a drop-dead heart attack if they saw the mil rates.
