She destroyed herself. In the documentary they made, after she wins the Grammys in 2008 she tells her friend "Fuck me, this is so boring without drugs." She was an ungrateful, entitled, selfish little bitch who happened to be an incredibly gifted artist. Just because I admire her talent doesn't mean I admire the woman. She didn't take care of that gift.

If she had a great voice, it was as a lyricist, not as a singer. Her voice was effective on the record (Back to Black), but she was a stylist.
